Paint Taunton Town Bridge

Taunton Town Bridge needs urgent painting.

The Bridge has been in existence since 1894, built in place of the previous bridge which had been in place since 1834, and is essential part of Taunton's heritage.

Due to lack of care over the years by Conservative-led Somerset County Council (SCC), maintenance is now required.

The bridge was last cleaned and painted before 2010!

This is an essential part of the revitalisation of Taunton town centre; we are calling on Conservative-led Somerset County Council to protect this vital piece of infrastructure.

As a Taunton resident, please sign our petition to Cllr John Woodman, Cabinet member for Highways and Transport at SCC, to repaint the bridge.
