Taunton Deane Borough Council By - Election

Wiveliscombe and West Deane

Sue Levinge

Sue has lived in Chipstable since 1998. She is a graduate scientist and qualified technical librarian, and was chief librarian for consulting engineers W S Atkins for a number of years.

Bringing up two children on her own, she then worked as a property and office manager gaining experience with town planners, housing associations and marketing consultants.

She has been a member of Chipstable Parish Council since 2011. She is a pragmatic localist who believes in promoting the interests of local people while trying to consider the wider picture. She is also churchwarden and treasurer of All Saints’ Church.

As a TDBC councillor Sue’s first priority would be to ensure that issues of concern to the town and parish councils and residents across the area are made known to the Council and dealt with appropriately.  She would also be active in Council policy-decision processes, aiming to ensure your money is used in the best possible ways.
